Bills (Ralph Wilson Stadium)
What began as a 7 hour road trip, culminated with an incredible finale; and can only be considered the benchmark to which all future tailgates will be compared. Our thanks go out to the Patriots Fan Club of Rochester for their detailed planning and unyielding hospitality. The tailgate headcount ballooned to well over 50 in number; with Patriots fans from Rochester, Washington DC, Boston and all over the Northeast converging on the South Parking lot of Ralph Wilson Stadium. We even had one Patriots die-hard who quit her job to make the road trip! Now that's loyalty....I think.
Patriots die-hards feasted on burgers, sausage, beef brisket, & homemade chili in the frigid Buffalo air. And the traditional Murphy's Fans toast of Irish Cream took some of that nip out of the chill.
Thanks to Tom and Dean for their thorough organizing. And thumbs up to everyone who joined us in Buffalo. Far too many names to remember, but we look forward to hooking up again in the years to come with fans like Ross, Mike the Cook, Rocky, Ron, Floyd, Rusty, Clint from GoPats.com (cameo appearance counts!), Keith, Bill, Charlie G (dude, forgot your cooler!) & ChowdahHead!
Great game, great fans. Unfortunately, too many to fit in one picture, though we tried (see below). Scott is doing his best Where's Waldo impression - look closely for him (and Andrea, you got cut out, but your beer cup made it in) Yours truly is behind the camera, on top of someone's Chevy Van. Not sure whose that was, but if anyone asks - those footprints were already on the roof when I climbed up there!
