Bills (Ralph Wilson Stadium)
The day began at 8:15am as our caravan pulled up to the South Parking Lot, only to be greeted with a line a cars waiting to enter. A mere 45 minutes was well worth it as vehicle after vehicle lined up behind us. Once the lots opened we immediately grabbed our usual spot along the pedestrian walkway. Apparently the third time's a charm. We love this spot!
This being our third trip to Buffalo in as many years, we've developed a lasting friendship with many other Pats fans who regularly make the trek to see the Patriots play at The Ralph. A short ten minutes after we arrived, the gang from Rochester pulled up and the mega-cookout was underway. Chowdah, RonZilla, Dean, and Tom are some of the coolest fans.
The day's menu consisted of our famous beef tips, smoked beef brisket, and a winning batch of Duke's venison chili. Of course, no cookout is complete without the traditional pre-game toast of Irish Cream.
Thank you's go out to everyone who joined our tailgate, Joe K, Larry D & his wife, the Swift Clan, the Bogdan's (thanks to Michael for all of the introductions!), Buddy Love, Keith & Bill, and so many more whose names escape us. Patriots fans were everywhere! Even bigger kudos to Ron and Rocky from Buffalo, they are true Murphy's Patriots!
The Patriots tied the record for consecutive wins this Sunday. They've won 18 in a row. But it's the incredible three consecutive Buffalo tailgates that we're even more thrilled about!
