PATRIOTS BLAST THE BILLS
This was the "Race for the
Cure" Saturday and "Throwback Sunday" weekend. We had a great turnout
for the race. The after-party was super! The bloody mary contest ended
in a tie (sorry, Chip... I'm getting BETTER). It was great to see the
usual folks out at Murphy's to watch the game on Sunday. There were a
couple of Bills fans in the mix, but all was OK: we all had fun! Next
week, Monday night. Vikings. Be there. Check out the new pictures..."

PATRIOTS TAME BENGALS
Pats blow out Cincy! Great game! The jinx
of our 60 inch TV is over very quickly, as the Pats offense comes to
life! Check out the pics...

Super Bowl
XXXIX
The Pats fans showed up early and stayed late. Murphy's was near capacity
by gametime and the crowd was not disappointed! What a good
football game in every sense. Drama, great plays, unexpected
heroes... this game had it all! Regulars Joe, Darrell, Jason, Tieya, Big
Steve and Donnell anchored a large group of fans from near and far
that cheered the Pats to victory. Dynasty? Don't say the word, just think
the thought!

Thanks to owner Tom Mooney and the superb staff, we were treated to a great
buffet during the game. Of course, they've been taking care of us Pats
fans all season, so we've come to expect the best during the games!
The season ended on a high note
to give us something to savor during the off-season. After watching Brady,
Bruschi and the rest of our Pro Bowlers play in Hawaii, we're going to
plan a trip to Old Town to join our brethren up there for Draft Day 2005.
Next season... road
trips! Carolina is a certainty, with others to be announced. Help us with
our plans for next season by stopping by Murphy's or sending an e-mail to belecjoie@hotmail.com.

Tailgate 2004
"We
came, we saw, we partied"
Although we got a late start
from The Beach due to the U.S. Postal Service's pony express delivery, we
got to Cleveland in time to tailgate with about 50 other Pats fans in the
shadows of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. From the pictures, you can tell
that we had a great time, tailgating with our brethren from Murphy's
Alexandria and watching the game. YES... we made it back alive!!! Sunday's
at Murphy's were never like this!!
Panthers
Tailgate 2004

Mike and I arrived @ the tailgate @ 10:30AM to find them already set up and cooking the pork for the BBQ. The Food Network had already been taping for an hour. The tailgate was right in the shadows of the stadium... awesome.
The tailgate actually began @ 3PM, so Mike and I went back to the hotel and hung out. We came back @ 3PM to find Marc, the "chef" still cooking and the Food Network still taping. Dan, the self-
proclaimed 12th man made us feel at home and showed us around the official tailgate bus and tailgate site. Also in attendance were former Panther cheerleaders, the "Topcat Alumni". They were the special guests for the day. We were the ONLY Pats fans at this tailgate party!

We tailgated until 7:15PM and then walked over to the Bank of America Stadium which was probably all of 500 yards away. Although the Pats lost 20-17, we felt like winners, since we had eaten some of the best Carolina BBQ, met some cheerleaders, had a few nice, cold beers and watched a nail-biting football game (after all, it was only pre-season).
